Had another first date tonight. This one was sorta planned last minute. I didn't have high expectations, but it went well. I think a measure of success with dates now may be if the guy texts you after it's done. The first guy I met online did that ("Had a good time...will talk whn u get back. Have a great trip!"), and this guy tonight did it too ("It was nice having tea with you. Have a good night :)").This one gets bonus points for walking me to my car.
Though I don't see long term anything with this guy. He's a bit self-absorbed, but nice enough. The sorta self-absorbed guys are easy to talk to because they have lots to say. He did take care of the bill fairly subtly. I didn't have a chance to try to pay.
We'll see what happens I guess.
Tomorrow night is the date I am most looking forward to. Hopefully I haven't overhyped it for myself.
