Ugh... this online dating thing is starting to take a turn for the worse. There are still potentials in there, but now I've had 3 guys just stop communicating for no apparent reason.First guy I had seen before my trip for coffee and given his last text to me, I thought he was interested in meeting up again. I texted him when I got back, but never got a response. I'm wondering if I should try him again and give him the benefit of the doubt (maybe somehow the text didn't get to him?). But how hard am I supposed to work for this? I'm not attached enough to him to chase him.
Second guy had been responding right away every time we communicated through the website. Then we switched to regular email and suddenly he stopped answering. Again, what the hell?
Third guy seemed really down to earth and nice, and a sense of humour I really liked. We had talked about grabbing food tonight, and we were emailing back and forth and trying to figure out what restaurant to eat at. Now it's 6 PM and I haven't heard from him. I'm really disappointed. What happened?
Oh I almost forgot about the other guy who never called me back, but I didn't really like him anyway.
What is it about online dating that makes it okay for people to just end things this way? Annoyed.
