Wow randomly started talking to an old friend from university who's married now. Turns out he works with M, and told me he wanted to warn me about him when we were together. He told me he thought M was a "talker" - good at "speaking, influencing and convincing" and brought "a new girl to company xmas party every year".This friend was sweet though. He told me "u've always been a good catch so in due time u'll find the one" and "u've always been so nice and sweet since university. haven't changed."
I think he may have just infused me with a new sense of optimism for myself.
